The upgrade to the item was first introduced in Generation II. This upgrade enables Porygon2 to grow when traded while held.

Recycle points

Recycle points can be used to upgrade certain items. They can be earned by recycling cans and plastic or by completing missions. Substats

If you'd like to have a better chance of obtaining a particular sub-stat, you can use REFINE to increase the chance by four levels. This will cost you MORA. Finding duplicates is another way to increase the sub-stats of an item. Then, you can enhance the duplicates to give them an increased rarity and different set of sub-stats. If you're a high level player, this can be a valuable strategy in improving your character's DPS. You must be careful to not overdo it and risk losing your MORA.

Reroll tokens

Reroll tokens let players roll the item currently equipped by a unit. Rerolling the item will result in an upgraded version that comes with various bonuses, and a completely new type of equipment. Rerolling an item could raise its ilvl in certain instances. Rerolling an item is only beneficial when it has a rare affix.

Rerolling an object resets its base power, all upgrades and substats. This is helpful if an upgraded item's maximum power is lower than desired or if the user would like to have different substats on an existing ring. Reroll tokens can be obtained in a variety of ways, including from the mistery box as an item dropped from skulled creatures, or as part of a reward for killing an enemy.

Weapons, armor, rings and other accessories can all be rerolled. Weapons can be rerolled in physical power, spell power or health. Rings can be rerolled for durability or damage, and armor can be rerolled to reduce damage or boost defense. Rerolling a piece of equipment that has been crafted will also create a rare-like item of the same sort. However the rerolled item will not retain the ilvl of its original owner and any resources wasted aren't compensated.

Rerolling is done by pressing the green button, which is accompanied by circles of arrows in the menu of items. However the button will not be displayed on any item currently equipped by the unit. In order to reroll an item, the player must have at least one token to re-roll in their inventory. The player must select the stat they want to reroll and confirm their choice. Rerolls may take longer than anticipated in some cases. This is a result of the rerolling system being able to provide numerous possible combinations. In these situations players can also make use of a second reroll token to speed up the process.

Item level

It also considers the ilvls of all the slots for gear which can be upgraded but not the shirts and tabards. This includes cloaks and rings and neck, chest, shoulders back, wrists, hands, feet legs, waist and weapons on the off-hand. The ilvl for the weapon is taken into consideration twice, as the main hand and off hand have different iLevels.

The iLevel of an item determines the stat priority it will have. Certain stats are more valuable than others based on the class or spec. Crit rating, for example is expensive, whereas haste rating is a bargain. The level of the item determines how much of an item's ilvl budget is spent on secondary and primary stats and how much is left for effects and procs.

It is essential to have the Best item upgrade equipment for your character. This will enable you to move faster through the game and gain access to more areas. Additionally the higher your item level is, the more damage you can do in PvP.
