1. Engine Speed Sensor

Testing is a bit tricky as there are two different pins for the connector and they perform different functions however the best way to test it is to measure resistance between the sensor and the ECU. It should read around 1000 ohms when it is at full operation. Examine for signs of coolant, or oil in the connector bay if you are experiencing problems with this part.

2. Injectors

Yesterday, while accelerating from the highway paytoll at a high speed I noticed a massive decrease in power. It was like the engine was running out of gas. Or my injectors weren't firing. In the morning, i removed the spark plugs. Three were drenched in gazoline, the 4th one was dry. 3. Fuel Pump

The fuel pump in the g28 receives a signal from the RPM sensor. The GM-style sender is the same as the G4 and both function in the 80, 100 200, UrS and RS2 cars which is why you can easily locate one at a salvage yard or in a local parts store. Test them out - put your DMM in resistance mode and measure the resistance between pins 1 (with the bump on the connector end up) and 2 (2nd from the left on the black connector's side). 4. ECU
