You can adjust the shelves in both compartments to make a custom storage solution. The interior design of the GE PYE22PYNFS also looks attractive. The LED lighting adds an attractive feature. The in-door storage bins have a third shelf which can be folded down to store tall items. The drawers have temperature controls that let you set them to Meat, Beverage or Deli settings. They're easy to open and close, although I found their plastic textured coatings a bit difficult on the fingers.

The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator comes with the all the features you'd expect from a fridge at this price that includes Wi-Fi as well as app support via GE's SmartHQ software. The app, available for iOS and Android devices can let you control your fridge from anywhere in world, and has many options for customizing. It also gives you notifications when doors are left open, when your fridge or freezer needs defrosting and when it's time to change the filter.

It would be nice if GE PYE22PYNFS could offer Precise Fill which is a feature available in a handful of GE refrigerators that allow users to choose the number of cups they would like to disperse. The fridge shows a countdown to show you how much water is left but it's not as effective as Precise Fill.

Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The Bosch French-door Refrigerator is an impressive product. It's designed to look like it's a seamless component in your kitchen. The fridge uses fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, which is a great feature for busy households. LG Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The LG LRFLC2706S is an excellent counter-depth refrigerator that packs a lot of storage into the frame's compact size. It has a sleek, fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel finish and features thick handles that make them comfortable to grip. The fridge is built with a standard French door layout, with two rows of spill-capture shelving and a set of crisper drawers. The top shelf on the right can be folded down to give taller items more room. You'll also find a full-width drawer for deli items and an internal water dispenser.

One of the great features of this refrigerator is that the Ice maker is located in the freezer, making it easy to move frozen ice to the fridge for use when needed. The freezer also has thoughtful design features, like sliding drawers that can help you sort your things. It also has a large bin that can accommodate plenty of frozen food items as well as an additional ice storage bin.

Another cool feature of this refrigerator is its Smart InstaView panel. You can manage the temperature, lighting and other aspects of your fridge using your smartphone. It's a nice way to monitor and manage your refrigerator, particularly if you're away from home.

However, while the Smart InstaView is a neat feature, it does not necessarily enhance the overall performance of the refrigerator. In fact it took a bit longer to defrost and chill foods in this fridge than some of the others we tried. This is likely due to its greater capacity.

Another issue with the door of this refrigerator. The handles with a sunken design let shorter people open them from the bottom. However taller people have a hard time closing them without slamming them. It would have been much better if they came with a front-mounted handles.

The LG Counter-Depth MAX fridge is an excellent choice for those who want to combine the aesthetics of a French-door refrigerator with more efficient design. Its capacity is above average for a counter-depth model and it cools well and has a nice layout. It's also a little cheaper than the top counter-depth refrigerators that have an ice maker, which can make it an attractive option.

If you're looking for a french door fridge and freezer door refrigerator that won't break the bank and isn't expensive, this Frigidaire is a solid option. It has a simple design that's not as striking in appearance as some of the competition however it comes with enough features to make it a solid option. Its most significant feature, the adjustable temperature drawer helps to keep food like vegetables and meat fresher for longer. It also comes with a huge water dispenser as well as a good Ice machine that is fast.

Another great feature is the "Chill Drawer" that sits over the two crisper bins. This drawer lets you direct a portion of your fridge's cooling power to this area, so it can be used to store food items which need extra attention. This feature is adjustable using a slider on the outside of the drawer. You can also use this to adjust the general cooling settings for the entire fridge but I've noticed that adjusting the generic settings tends to produce better results than specific ones.

During my tests, the temperature of the refrigerator stayed fairly consistent across different areas of the refrigerator. The temperatures in the middle, top and bottom of the refrigerator didn't vary much from 38 degrees. This is a solid performance but doesn't quite make it to the top of our ratings.

This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. You can also connect this fridge to a smart thermometer for more precise readings of your fridge's temperature.

The exterior of the Frigidaire is made from grey-bodied stainless with a "smudge proof" finish. It does an excellent job of repelling fingerprints and streaks even when compared with shiny stainless steel finishes on other appliances I've tried.
