One of the nice features of this refrigerator is that its Ice maker is located in the freezer, which makes it easy to move the ice to the refrigerator to be used when it is needed. The freezer features thoughtful design elements, too, like sliding drawers to help you to organize the place of your items. It also comes with a large bin that can hold plenty of frozen food items and an storage bin for ice.

Another awesome feature of this refrigerator is its Smart InstaView panel. You can control the temperature, lighting, and other aspects of your fridge using your smartphone. It's a simple method to keep track of your refrigerator and manage it, especially when you're not at home.

Although the Smart InstaView is a neat feature, it doesn't enhance the overall performance of the refrigerator. In fact it took longer to defrost and chill food in this refrigerator than some of the others we test. This could be due to the greater capacity.

The other issue we have with the door of this refrigerator. The handles that are sunken allow shorter people to open them from the bottom. However taller people will have a difficult time closing them without slamming. It would have been much better if they had handles mounted on the front.

The LG Counter-Depth MAX fridge is an excellent option for those looking to combine the look of a French door refrigerator with a more efficient design. Its capacity is higher than average for a counter-depth model, and it cools well and has a nice layout. It's also less expensive than the top counter depth refrigerator that comes with an icemaker, which makes it a great choice.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator
