World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading

The item upgrade lets players boost the gear rating of an item up 700 points, and then give it a bonus. Items can be upgraded if they are in your inventory and you take them to the kiln.

Certain items are worth upgrading due to their distinctive stats. (For example an excellently rolled breakpoint armor used in melee PvP). Other items like weapons don't change much after an upgrade and therefore aren't worth the effort.

Weapons

Weapons can be upgraded to boost their numeric stats, such as damage to attack, crit chance as well as PvE and PvP damage. Weapons have a flat-rate bonus that increases damage per second. Many weapons also have a fixed bonus which is activated when three or more identical weapons are placed in a unit. In some cases this bonus could add up to more than the amount of damage a weapon can sustain by itself.

The cost of upgrading a weapon depends on its rarity and current level. For example an item upgrader mod with a rating of +2 will require two regular Smithing Stones to upgrade while an upgrade of +3 requires four. The number of stones required to upgrade a weapon will increase until it requires a higher level of Smithing Stones. At that point it will reset to one.

Upgrades to weapons can also reroll the stats of their base. This is usually a positive factor, but it could also have negative effects. In the case of items that are only used in a particular build (Whistant's shield for FB sorcs, for instance), upgrading them may render them useless unless you get a lucky roll.

It is possible to upgrade armor items to boost their stats. This will increase the defense of a helm or chest while belts and gloves will boost their required strength and agility. Armor also has an option to reroll its Enhanced Defense percentage, which means that it can sometimes reroll to a lower value.

The upgrade template for a weapon shows the new stats that it will gain upon upgrading, along with their relative values. This means that the weapon will gain an attack damage of 3% if it is upgraded from an 8 attack damage sword to an 11 attack damage sword. The 3% difference does not mean that the weapon will strike 3 times less, as it is an absolute number.

Rerolling a weapon is also possible by pressing the green button within the item menu, using the circling arrows. This will roll the item and change its stats, but it won't reset the weapon's level or connect to the status of your account.

Armor

A few upgrades to your armor can make all the difference in your ability to survive. Certain sets can offer massive increases in resistance to curses, poisons, fire, and magic. This makes it easier to navigate difficult areas. Generally speaking, the more defense your character has, the more value you can get from each point of health, so it's important to upgrade your armor as much as you can.

You can upgrade your armor by visiting any of the Great Fairy Fountains. There are four Great Fairy Fountains within the game, and to unlock them all, you have to complete an additional quest that involves the Stable Trotters. Once you've done the main side quest and have completed the fountain that corresponds and then you can talk to any Great Fairy to open up the armor upgrading menu.

The amount of materials needed to upgrade each piece of armor will differ. In general, you'll be looking at anywhere between three Red Chuchu jellies and 10 Rupees for the initial upgrade, then anywhere between five Rubies and ten Fire-Breath Lizalfos Horns for each subsequent one. For instance the Champion Leathers can be upgraded to +5 defense, which allows you to keep pace with a good-sized group of enemies in most cold environments and the Snowquill Headdress can be upgraded up to +20 defense, providing the protection needed to survive an entire raid with a few friends.

You can't upgrade armor the same as weapons. If you're playing as a Warrior it is Best item upgrade to focus on upgrading your armor to increase physical strength or spell power. It's also worth saving your armor upgrades to use for armor you'll still be wearing at the end of the game, such as the Ring of Lightning and Spectral Shield, or the helmet you wear to fight the final boss and the Monter Parts Merchant's mask.

You can also gain advantages to your armor by giving the jeweler in Gerudo Town 10 Twinkling Titanite. You'll typically want to keep these upgrades to the weapon that you'll use to beat the game. For instance the Longsword or Battleaxe. However, it's beneficial to have a few upgrades to the helmets and chest armor to let you get around a few monsters.

Potions

Potions are liquid substances that, when consumed, provide the user with an effect on their status for a short period of time. There are five kinds of potions, each with a specific set of effects and durations. Some potions may be upgraded, increasing their effectiveness. You can also increase the effects of certain potions by including glowstone dust and redstone.

Upgrades to potion cost a certain amount of XP. This can be earned by crafting them on a crafting table or the chest of the Alchemist. The cost of upgrading varies based on the type of potion and the item upgrader's rarity as well as Mark Level.

To upgrade a potion, right-click on it in your inventory and choose the "Upgrade" option from the menu. This will open a GUI which allows you to select the potion you want to upgrade and the amount of experience they'll offer when upgraded. The upgrade items of potions can be completed in batches of up to five at a time and the XP they earn will be added to your current XP level.

Once a potion is upgraded in quality, it will not deteriorate until you take it out again or break the bottle within which it is stored. Clicking on the potion in your inventory will also allow you to change the name of the potion.

Version 1.7.2 brought a few changes to the way potions are used. For example the splash potions now have the duration of zero,08 seconds (this is not the same as 22.5 seconds that are displayed on the hover display for the item). The table of potion now crafted from four Wood Planks, and two Glass. It can be used in both Survival and Bedrock. Unlike the Java Edition, Bedrock edition potions can't be mixed in cauldrons. Additionally, using a potentio on a full cauldron drains the contents and replenishes the bottle.

In addition, there are lingering potions that are brewed with splash and dragon breath potions. In the same way, a lingering potion effect can be extended by adding redstone to it. The table of potions has been rearranged to appear more like the Java Edition. New potions are also added, such as the potion of leaping as well as decomposition.

Trinkets

A trinket can be described as a small and cheap ornament or piece of jewelry. It could also be an ornament or object that serves a purpose, but isn't essential as a Thimble. In some cultures a trinket is a way to express affection or friendship between family members.

In addition to weapons, armor and potions, players can upgrade their trinkets. Upgrades can be obtained by paying the appropriate currency to an upgrade vendor. Unlike other item upgrades, trinkets can be traded out at any time without losing their stats.

Upgrade vendors can be found at the capitals of every zone, and sometimes in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets are available with tokens, gold, or fragments from trinkets that are rare.

Upgrades are a less expensive alternative to buying a new trinket. It is possible to upgrade players for just 12 tokens. The new trinket will have the same base level as the old trinket but it also comes with an additional 1% bonus upgrade.

Once the old Trinkets have become not usable they can be upgraded. This allows players to increase their power and value with time. They can also be traded between players and are an attractive alternative to gold.

Players must upgrade their most valuable items first. This usually refers to the most valuable-in-slot items for their class, then their secondaries, and finally other pieces of gear that they will not be replacing soon (for example rings or cloaks). When choosing the items to upgrade, players should be aware of their class's preferred statistics. If Haste and Crit are two of the most important stats to a tank player, then they should upgrade their helm, chest and shoulders.

Trinkets are able to be upgraded to a higher ilvl once they're no longer needed, and the new trinket will have an additional 1% upgrade bonus. A re-upgrade, however, will cause the trinket to be destroyed unless it can be saved using the help of a Black Lion Salvage Kit, or a salvage tool. This means upgrading trinkets is more expensive than other upgrades, but is still less expensive than buying the new one.
