Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat
The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that converts from a single 3 wheel stroller cheap to double stroller with the addition of an additional seat or glider board (sold separately). It can also be set up into a triple travel system by adding a bench seat or infant car seat. It has 24 configurations in total and is the highest-rated stroller. This model is made with Baby Jogger’s soft durable, breathable and sustainably-sourced TENCEL fabrics. They aid in regulating temperature. It features an elegant leatherette handlebar and bumper bar and comes with an abdominal bar. It folds 20 percent smaller than the market-leading single-to-double stroller, UPPAbaby Vista V2 and is lighter, too.
It comes with a medium-sized shade as well as an open-air window with a magnet, which is easy to open or close. The telescoping bar is of the most easily adjustable and is suitable for parents of any height. The seats recline and come with a footwell adjustment button to allow you to place your child for maximum comfort. The storage bin is roomy however we would prefer it had an opening that was more secure. The bin is easy to open, but the zippers are a bit annoying because they need to be removed and then secured again after every use.
The City Select, like its siblings, has single-action breaks that are simple to install and release by pulling a lever on the frame's side, lower than the handlebar. It is comfortable for sandals and barefoot and is a significant improvement over the clunky brake levers other brands use.
This is the only stroller we tested that can take two infant seats. It's a great choice for parents who have twins or an infant on the way. It can be used with all major brands infant car seats by using an adapter. We tested it with Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30, Graco Click Connect models, Cybex Aton and Aton Q and Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is not compatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. It's a good choice for families that already have a car seat and need a stroller to accommodate it however, you might prefer a convertible stroller that fits an additional car seat for infants in this case.
